Welcome to Harvey's Auctions

We hold regular auctions across the Black Country, see the home page for our current events.

Buying at our auctions is very straightforward

Please note these rules before you bid - copies will be on display at each venue.

  • Items are available for viewing before the sale. Spend time looking carefully at what is available and note the location of any items your are interested in are on.
  • You are responsible for checking the items before you bid
  • Electrical goods are sold as spares or repairs and must be checked by a qualified electrician before you use them.
  • The auction is not responsible for the written description given by the vendor. The vendor is the person who is selling the item.

There are normally hundreds of items so the selling process has to be quite quick

When the auction starts items will be held up and the starting price announced.

  • If there are no bids then we move onto the next item. If you miss an item then there is only a short time that the item is still available, quickly contact one of the assistants.
  • If there is a bid for an item then it will be offered at the next price, normally 50 pence more.
  • When there are no more bids then the auctioneer will indicate the winner when the assistants will take the item to the winner and collect payment.
  • There is a 20 pence buyers premium payable on all goods including multi purchases - if an item is £1 then you pay £1.20, if an item is £6 then you pay £6.20 etc.
  • Where there are multiple items not be ing offered as a job lot, for example a number of CDs's or DVD's then the bidding will be for one item, with the option to choose the specific item(s) required. Any items not wanted may be offered to others at the same price.
  • All items must be removed from the sale room on the day of sale, any items left will be disposed of.
  • We reserve the right to refuse bids from anyone who does not behave in an appropriate manner.
  • All children must be seated in the auction room with parents or guardians.
  • Auctions are private and anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner will be asked to leave.
